Affiliates are those companies that are under common control of Curate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To Perform Services You Request<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties in order to perform services you request or functions you initiate, such as when you post information and materials on message boards and forums, including on our Facebook Page. When you post information in a public forum it becomes public information and will not be treated as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy. If you believe that your Curate account or any information you provided to us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately through the Contact Us information provided below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How To Manage Your Account Information; Opting Out<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can visit the account section of the Curate Application website to manage and correct any factual inaccuracies in the information we have on file about you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we choose to send to you, or you have elected to receive, bulletins, updates, or other marketing-related materials, we will provide you with the ability to decline \u2013 or &#8220;opt out&#8221; \u2013 of receiving such communications. Instructions for opting-out will be provided if and when we determine to send you such a communication. For example, if you no longer wish to receive email messages from us, you can opt out of emails by either (i) following the &#8220;unsubscribe&#8221; instructions located near the bottom of each email message, or (ii) contacting us as provided in Contact Us below. Please understand that we may still communicate with you in connection with administrative notices concerning any transactions, operation of the Platform and legal notices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use of \u201cCookies\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We use cookies to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understand and save user\u2019s preferences for future visits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. You should consult the privacy policy of such sites to determine the information practices of those sites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google\u2019s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google\u2019s Advertising Principles. Google\u2019s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Whenever you authorize those applications, you will be given an option of what data will be shared for your consent. Note that deletion requests are subject to a number of limitations, for example, we may keep Personal Information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, to maintain an active account, to process transactions and facilitate customer requests, and for other internal business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may request that we do not share your Personal Information with third parties to be used for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy. The California Consumer Privacy Act refers to this as a &#8220;Do Not Sell&#8221; request. we only share Personal Information with others described above for purposes identified in this Privacy Policy, but Online Activity Information or Anonymous Information collected by our service providers providing pixels or other third party technologies on our Website could potentially be used by such parties for their own purposes, some of whom may be able to associate such information with you based on other information they have collected independently (not from us). You may authorize another person (your &#8220;<\/span><b>Agent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;) to submit a request on your behalf the same way. Shortly after you (or your Agent) submit a request, we will contact you (usually via email) with instructions on how to verify the submitted request before we fulfill it. Please be advised that these requests are unrelated to an opt-out of marketing communications, which can be done as provided above in How To Manage Your Account Information; Opting Out. We honor Do Not Track signals and Do Not Track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Other California Disclosures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We do not provide a financial incentive or a price or service difference to customers in exchange for the retention or sale of their Personal Information. We may send promotions and other offers to those individuals subscribing to our marketing communications and, unless an individual has opted out of such communications, the individual will continue to receive such communications irrespective of whether a disclosure, deletion, or &#8220;Do Not Sell&#8221; request has been submitted. We do not offer financial incentives to deter customers from making such requests.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We may not discriminate against any customer for exercising their privacy rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a job applicant submitting Personal Information to us in connection with an application for employment, you will be provided with a privacy notice regarding how we handle such information as part of the application process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have any questions about our privacy practices, including in connection with the California Consumer Privacy Act, please contact us as directed in Section 19 (Contact Us) below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Nevada Disclosure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. For Nevada residents, please note that we do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law. You can submit a request to us as set out in in Section 19 (Contact Us) below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Curate recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of children. We will not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). When a user discloses Personal Information on the Curate Application, the user is representing to us that he or she is at least thirteen (13) years of age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to the collection of Personal Information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children\u2019s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States\u2019 consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children\u2019s privacy and safety online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old. If a child under the age of thirteen (13) has provided us with personally identifiable information through the Curate Application, we ask that a parent or guardian e-mail us at admin@Curate.co, and we will delete the child\u2019s information from our records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fair Information Practices<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Fair Information Practices Principles sets forth certain privacy laws in the United States and the concepts in the Fair Information Practice Principles play a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect Personal Information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be in line with Fair Information Practices, we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will notify you via email as soon as we are notified of the breach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will notify the users via in-site notification as soon as we are notified of the breach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and\/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GDPR<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">See the GDPR Data Processing Addendum for more information about Curate\u2019s policies in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This English-language Privacy Policy is Curate\u2019s official statement of its Curate Application privacy practices.
